This is a remote position. Our client is looking for a Business Analyst with Insurance experience to join our team based in the Philippines. Schedule: Monday to Friday from 9:00 am to 6:00 pm with 1 hour unpaid lunch break (New York, NY) Key Responsibilities Gather and document business requirements from stakeholders Analyze current business processes and identify improvement opportunities Create functional specifications and user stories Support UAT and system testing activities Facilitate meetings between business and technical teams Assist with project documentation and requirement tracking Learn insurance domain processes (policies, claims, underwriting) Collaborate with development teams to ensure requirements are met Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Business, IT, Finance or related field 1-2 years experience in business analysis or related role Strong analytical and documentation skills Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) Good English communication skills (written and verbal) Willingness to learn insurance domain knowledge Preferred Qualifications Any exposure to insurance or financial services Basic SQL knowledge Experience with Agile methodologies Understanding of SDLC processes Independent Contractor Perks Permanent work-from-home Immediate hiring Steady freelance job ZR_24070_JOB Originally posted on Himalayas
