Behaviour Mentor - Reading. ASAP Start - Full-Time Position. Are you resilient, patient, and passionate about helping young people overcome behavioural challenges? A supportive and forward-thinking SEMH and SEN school in Reading is seeking a dedicated Behaviour Mentor to support pupils with social, emotional, and behavioural needs. Students may present with SEMH, Autism, ADHD, trauma-related behaviours, and emotional regulation difficulties and require consistent, positive role models throughout the school day.
Responsibilities
As a Behaviour Mentor, you will work 1:1 and in small groups, helping students manage behaviour, develop coping strategies, and re-engage with learning.
You will support the implementation of behaviour plans and restorative approaches, working closely with teachers, therapists, and pastoral teams.
