About the position As a Barista at Starbucks, you will be responsible for creating an exceptional customer experience through excellent service and expertly-crafted beverages. This role emphasizes teamwork, communication, and a passion for coffee, all within a fast-paced and energetic store environment. You will engage with customers, prepare food and beverages, and maintain a clean workspace, contributing to the overall success of the store and the Starbucks community. Responsibilities Create the Starbucks Experience for customers through excellent service and expertly-crafted products. , Engage with customers to understand their needs and provide pleasant communication. , Prepare food and beverages according to standard recipes or customized for customers. , Maintain a clean and organized workspace throughout the shift. , Handle cash and ensure store safety and security standards are met. , Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth store operations. Requirements No previous experience required. , Ability to maintain regular and consistent attendance and punctuality. , Available to work flexible hours, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, nights, and/or holidays. , Meet store operating policies and standards, including cash handling and store safety. , Ability to learn quickly and understand oral and written instructions. , Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work as part of a team. Nice-to-haves Experience in customer service or retail is a plus. , Interest in coffee and beverage preparation.
