Audio Recording Project for Non-Native English Speakers (United States)

Join the CrowdGen team as an Independent Contractor for Project Millettia. If you're a non-native English speaker living in the U.S, this opportunity is for you! Help build a smarter and fairer AI with your voice. Your participation is vital in detecting and preventing stereotypes and biases in AI models. Task overview: • Read and record 150 scripted English prompts using the Appen Mobile app • Follow the provided instructions to ensure high-quality recordings • This is a one-time task that will only take approximately 2.5 hours to complete Who Can Apply? • Must be a non-native English speaker residing in the United States • Must be able to read English comfortably • Must be comfortable reading some sentences that contain sensitive topics (e.g., gender, diversity, relationships, race, inequality, etc.) • Must be 18 years or older • Must have an Android smartphone or iPhone • Must be able to record in a quiet environment, free from background noise Payment: • The pay rate is $60 for a fully completed and quality accepted session consisting of 150 recordings. • At least 90% of your session (135 recordings) must pass quality checks to be eligible for proportional payment.
