• Partner with Regulatory Affairs and Product to align on regulatory pathways and compliance considerations for new features and markets.
• Build, maintain, and socialize scalable legal templates, guardrails, and playbooks that streamline international launches and reduce cycle time.

• Advise on advertising and promotional compliance, substantiation requirements, and labelling considerations to ensure alignment with regulatory clearances and applicable consumer protection laws.
• Provide counsel on global trade compliance for product and data flows, including export controls (EAR/ITAR), sanctions/embargoes, customs/import classification (HTS), ECCN and dual‑use analysis, restricted‑party screening, and distributor/partner diligence.
• Support the design, implementation, and ongoing maintenance of policies, training, and controls to support prompt cross‑border launches and supply chain resilience.
• Drive legal program enablement by helping to develop simple intake, triage, and review lanes; clear escalation paths; and metrics that demonstrate business enablement, internal compliance, and risk management.
Requirements:
• Juris Doctor (J.D.) and good standing with at least one U.S. state bar (or international equivalent in a common law jurisdiction).

• Strong working knowledge of major global privacy frameworks and cross‑border transfer mechanisms, and familiarity with international consumer and marketing law considerations. Comfort translating complex, multi‑regional rules into actionable, product‑ready requirements.
• Experience building scalable legal processes (templates, playbooks, SLAs), communicating with regulators, and managing outside counsel across regions.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills; capable of simplifying complexity for executive and non‑legal audiences.
