ICE Encompass Developer Connect, EPC, API Architecture, AI Integration, Microsoft Stack About the Role We are seeking a highly specialized Senior ICE Encompass API Engineer & Solutions Architect to lead the evolution of our next-generation mortgage technology solutions. This role is ideal for a seasoned expert who thrives at the intersection of ICE Developer Connect, API engineering, AI-driven modernization, and enterprise-grade solution architecture. You will serve as a key technical authority-partnering directly with ICE, guiding internal engineering teams, shaping product strategy, and ensuring our solutions meet the highest standards of performance, compliance, and innovation. What You'll Do
ICE Platform Expertise & Collaboration
Act as our in-house expert on ICE Encompass API development, Developer Connect, EPC, and related ICE technologies.
Collaborate directly with ICE to identify, evaluate, and qualify upcoming platform changes and enhancements.
Represent our organization within the ICE Partner Advisory Group, contributing insights and advocating for strategic needs.
Developer Connect Leadership
Review, test, and validate new Developer Connect constructs, APIs, and capabilities.
Present findings and best practices to our engineering teams to ensure proper adoption and usage.
Train developers on ICE API best practices, coding standards, and architectural patterns.
Conduct code reviews and guide teams through the ICE code review and approval process.
Solution Development & R D
Design and develop advanced solutions using the Microsoft technology stack:
C#
MS SQL Server
Snowflake
Azure DevOps
Lead R D initiatives to explore new capabilities within ICE EPC and Developer Connect.
Partner with our Chief Architect to define custom ICE-related solutions and produce technical design documentation (Visio).
Client Engagement & Technical Strategy
Participate in high-level technical pre-sales conversations, solutioning sessions, and strategic planning with clients.
Travel as needed to conferences and client meetings to represent our technical expertise and product vision.
Compliance & Operational Excellence
Work within SOC2-compliant processes and our secure cloud data center environment.
Ensure all solutions meet stringent security, compliance, and operational standards.
AI-Driven Innovation
Bring an AI-centric mindset to all solution design and modernization efforts.
Recommend and prototype AI integrations that enhance our existing product suite and custom development initiatives.
Play a key role in our long-term strategy to migrate and refine all solutions for ICE Developer Connect, with a strong emphasis on Encompass Web. What You Bring
Deep, hands-on expertise with ICE Encompass APIs, Developer Connect, and EPC.
Proven experience collaborating directly with ICE or similar enterprise platform partners.
Strong background in Microsoft technologies (C#, SQL Server, Snowflake, Azure DevOps).
Ability to translate complex technical concepts into actionable guidance for developers and stakeholders.
Experience leading code reviews, training teams, and driving platform adoption.
Excellent communication skills and confidence in client-facing technical discussions.
Familiarity with SOC2 environments and secure cloud operations.
A forward-thinking approach to AI integration and modern software architecture.
Willingness to travel for conferences, client meetings, and strategic engagements.
