Job Summary: Utah State University's Tooele Campus is seeking a highly qualified Anatomy Tutor to provide academic support to students enrolled in Anatomy courses. As an Anatomy Tutor, you will play a vital role in helping students achieve their academic goals by providing one-on-one tutoring sessions, both in-person and online. Responsibilities: Provide one-on-one tutoring sessions to students enrolled in Anatomy courses, primarily on the Tooele Campus. Conduct tutoring sessions in-person and through Zoom online, from the campus. Assist students with understanding course content, homework, reviewing exams, and explaining concepts discussed in class. Collaborate with the Student Success Coordinator to assess student needs and update tutoring practices throughout the semester. Requirements: Minimum Qualifications: Must be at least 18 years of age. Completion of Human Anatomy (BIOL 2320) and Human Physiology (BIOL 2420) with a B or better. Exceptional listening and communication skills. Ability to work with a diverse population and build rapport with students. Willingness to attend training on online tutoring systems. Preferred Qualifications: Completion of Pathophysiology with a B or better. Work Environment: The tutor will work on the Tooele Campus, with some flexibility to work remotely via Zoom. The schedule will include mostly evenings, with exact hours assigned by the supervisor based on course schedules. Compensation: $18.00 per hour.
