Accounts Receivable Specialist

About the Role As an Accounts Receivable Specialist, you'll play a vital role in ensuring the financial health of ZT Systems by managing the day-to-day processing of customer payments. You'll be responsible for invoice processing, customer communication, and resolving discrepancies. What You'll Do Review sales orders against customer purchase orders prior to shipment release. Manage invoice submissions via email, customer web portals, and EDI transmission. Process and verify credit applications, and proactively solicit payment on overdue accounts. Assist accounting personnel in resolving accounts receivable issues with clients. Maintain accurate customer files, including tracking delinquent accounts, address changes, credit risks, and relaying this information to relevant personnel. Assist in researching customer discrepancies, payment plan deviations, and maintaining a clean accounts receivable system. Respond to customer inquiries promptly and resolve pending issues. Prepare special reports reflecting the status of customer accounts upon request. Verify deposits and post to the accounts receivable ledger. Prepare vouchers and special information on appropriate invoices. Duplicate, file, and retrieve accounts receivable materials as needed. Assist the Controller in the monthly reconciliation of revenue accounts. What You'll Bring High school diploma or Associate's degree (preferred). 2+ years of experience in accounting/finance, business operations, or a related field. Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word and Excel). Experience with SAP ERP accounting systems is a plus. Strong understanding of accounting and/or business operations principles. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Highly detailed, organized, and able to multitask, set priorities, and adapt to changing environments. Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team. Excellent communication skills (oral and written). Strong customer service and interpersonal skills.
