Responsibilities:
– Prepare and analyze financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements
– Perform general ledger reconciliation and ensure accuracy of financial data
– Assist in the preparation of budgets, forecasts, and financial reports
– Conduct financial analysis to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement
– Ensure compliance with accounting principles and standards
– Collaborate with internal teams to gather financial information and support decision-making processes
– Assist in the development and implementation of accounting policies and procedures
– Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of financial transactions
-Maintain Company Taxes
-Oversee Bookkeeper
Experience:
– Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field preferred
– CPA certification preferred
– Proven experience in securities law, public accounting, or corporate finance
– Strong knowledge of technical accounting principles and practices
– Proficient in financial report writing and analysis
– Experience with Xero or other accounting software systems
– Familiarity with general ledger reconciliation and balance sheet reconciliation
– Solid understanding of debits, credits, and double-entry bookkeeping
Skills:
– Attention to detail and accuracy in financial data analysis
– Strong problem-solving skills and ability to think critically
– Excellent written and verbal communication skills
– Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other relevant software applications
– Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team
