This is an important role with strong degree of influence to ensure that SJP has sufficient quantity and quality of Partners and Advisers for our clients, it contributes to the improvement of adviser retention and productivity, and above all, helps to deliver good client outcomes. What you will be doing: -  Working as part of a team to support the business in achieving recruitment, growth, and retention aspirations of the business. - With current financial services sector knowledge and understanding, delivering the Academy Selection and Assessment process to build a future pipeline of financial advisers, ensuring that recruits of the right quality are invited to join the Partnership via the Academy, that they understand the opportunities that SJP presents, and that recruits experience a seamless, effective, and professional process. - Collaborating and building effective relationships with key stakeholders to ensure that recruits are assessed, selected, and handed over appropriately to the Academy and Early Years. - Working closely with the Business Partnering Team across the Locations to build relationships and to understand and fulfill the locations’ recruitment needs. - Working closely and effectively with Regulatory Authorisations to maintain and increase the required standards of regulatory documentation. - Working closely with the BSP team to ensure fully evidenced funding decisions are made. -  Providing guidance to the Partnership on contractual and business planning requirements for recruitment into SJP. - Influencing Partnership stakeholders to ensure recruits join Practices that have the required support functions and mentorship to allow recruits to stay and thrive in line with Recruitment Licencing. - Delivering a well-documented and evidence-based Transfers process that evaluates an individual’s ability to perform the role of Adviser or Business Owner and are in the correct role to support clients and the Partnership.  - Facilitating the movement between Adviser and Business Owner roles and providing insight into the ability, knowledge, and effectiveness of an individual to become a Business Owner. - Maintaining accurate MI via the effective and timely use of Salesforce to ensure that all Partnership interactions and engagement events are recorded. - Communicating relevant MI and any changes to processes and procedures to ensure key stakeholders are kept informed. - Delivering presentations to internal and external audiences to build awareness of the value added by the Selection team. - Delivering KPIs that evidence the effectiveness of the Selection/Transfer process. - Striving to improve the Selection/transfer process to deliver the required outcomes for the business and ensure that great client outcomes are delivered based on the relationship developed by the Partnership. We are looking for a candidate with the following:- -   A diverse understanding of the business objectives, skills and competencies  required for candidates to effective in a Wealth Manager/Financial Adviser sales environment. - An expert understanding of the commerciality of contracts and the financial workings of an AR Practice. -  Comprehensive knowledge and experience of the end-to-end Selection and Assessment Process. -  Proven experience in interviewing and spotting talent; being able to enthuse recruits about the opportunity of the Academy is required. -  An understanding of process improvement and experience of working in a continuous improvement culture would also be beneficial for this role. -  Excellent problem solving and communication skills, able to coach and consult. Special Requirements: Regular travel is required in the role, with some overnight stays. Flexibility around working hours is expected from time to time.       What's in it for you?
